Jianli J Wu HBSc, MANeuroSci, DC

Hi there!

Dr Wu Jianli has advanced professional training in vestibular (vertigo/dizziness) management, concussion treatment and assessment, dance movement and injuries, human sport movement, psychology, nutritional sciences, physical medicine, rehabilitation and wellness sciences.

He holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree with Distinction in Kinesiology with Psychology from The University of Western Ontario. He attained further education in Budapest, Hungary, at Semmelweis University in the College of Sport Sciences and Physical Education, and received professional training at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. Dr Wu has since completed a post graduate Masters Degree in Applied Neuroscience with a specialisation in Neurotology.

He manages injuries and conditions that limit work, sport and dance performance. Dr. Wu has an interest in sport and performing arts medicine and is accepting new patients for ongoing performance and injury care.

Dr Wu has been in clinical practice since 2003 and private chiropractic practice since 2008. He is licensed to practice in Ontario and is a member in good standing of the CCO. His practice includes: care of athletic injuries; dance and performing artist health; neurological, dizziness and vestibular rehabilitation; and pre/post natal care. Beyond injury management, Dr Wu employs a highly researched approach to support and sustain high performance training demands by combining supportive manual nMSK techniques and targeted lifestyle programmes (sleep, nutrition, stress management etc.)

He is a consulting chiropractor for professional dancers, professional and amateur athletes. In addition to his private practice, he is a consulting partner for GTAConcussion, a private interdisciplinary facility for mild-moderate traumatic brain injury and he is the current team chiropractor for the Toronto Outer Harbour Dragons, an internationally competitive dragon boat crew and their nationally ranked paddlers.

Avdhi here.

I have always been passionate about health and it’s one of the most important things in my life. As a physiotherapist, I can have a direct impact on the health of my clients.

My job is to provide you with the knowledge, tools and guidance you need to be able to tackle the challenges of your everyday life. I educate to help manage and reduce pain, and prevent injury and improve health.

I will help return you to all the things that you love. (with little caring nudges for me as necessary). My treatment plans provide you with the tools and guidance to help you feel stronger and more confident to achieve your unique health goals.

I am the resident physiotherapist at Elumena Health Clinics. I studied at the University of Brighton, United Kingdom, achieving a Master of Physiotherapy. Prior to this I had completed an Honors Bachelor of Science in Human Biology: Health and Disease degree from the University of Toronto.

My clinical expertise is in musculoskeletal (muscle, bone, joint) and neurological conditions. I have a keen interest in Active Aging with Grace in both acute hospital and private clinic settings.
